• Homake Rises to the Challenge of Smart Irrigation of Flowers and Plants

  • April 29, 2020

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) tenant, Arka Fonoon Aria Fartak Co, has designed and manufactured a smart irrigation system named Homake that regulates and controls the irrigation of flowers and plants.

A major problem that gardeners and agricultural farmers face on a daily basis is how to sustain optimal conditions for flora and fauna cultivation. One such condition is maintaining a constant flow of water to plants which traditionally had required constant supervision on site but is now achievable from far away. It is now possible for gardeners, farmers and orchard owners to control the irrigation of their crops from the convenience of their homes by installing the application Homake on their smart phones. This application can not only control the amount and timing of irrigation but can also regulate greenhouse conditions i.e. temperature, humidity, etc.

The process of smart irrigation via Homake is carried out by the company in four easy steps. First an assessment team is sent to the field under cultivation to determine the scope and requirements of the system. Second, a suitable solution based on environmental and cultivation requisites is designed and presented by company experts. The solution package is then set up on land and its controlling application installed on the owners smart device. Finally a ten year back-up and maintenance service is provided.

Arka Fonoon Co. is currently a tenant at ISTT’s incubation center. Its main fields of activity are in automation and Agriculture. You can find more information about this company and product on its website www.Homake.ir .
